DoT's Sanchar Saathi traces over 20 lakh lost, stolen phones: MoS Telecom

The telecom department's Sanchar Saathi platform has successfully traced over 20 lakh lost or stolen mobile phones, as stated by Minister Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani. The platform has also facilitated the blocking of 33.5 lakh mobile phones. With an average recovery rate of 22.9%, 4.64 lakh handsets have been returned to their owners, contributing to a secure digital environment.
