Murderbot shoves Alexander Skarsgård back into the machine

“We can talk about this.” 

It’s a repeated refrain in “Complementary Species,” Murderbot’s tense and swift-moving seventh episode—a mantra of sorts amongst the Preservation Alliance folks. As an ode to open communication, it sounds good on paper and it certainly helps explain how the core crew generally gets along so well (even as the episode’s fascinating cold open reveals them to somehow be even more romantically incestuous than previously shown). But how well does that “talk it out” ethos work on someone who doesn’t want to talk?
