Mamdani campaign reports threatening, anti-Muslim messages to NYPD

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Assemblymember and mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani revealed he has received death threats in the final days of early voting before Tuesday’s Democratic primary in the New York City race for mayor.

The NYPD confirmed it has launched a hate crimes investigation after Mamdani’s campaign reported four separate voicemails, all making threatening and anti-Muslim statements.
