Deacon Blue's co-founder and keyboard player, James Prime, has died at the age of 64 after a battle with cancer. Prime, a founding member alongside Ricky Ross in 1985, passed away in hospital. The band confirmed his death on social media, expressing their grief and gratitude for the support received. The band will proceed with their 'Great Western Road Trip' tour in September 2025.
