OTP, face recognition for take-home ration to be rolled out across Uttar Pradesh by July

Uttar Pradesh government is integrating Face Recognition System (FRS) into the Poshan Tracker to combat malnutrition by ensuring transparent delivery of Take-Home Ration (THR) to eligible beneficiaries. A statewide campaign aims for 100% FRS coverage by July 1, using facial recognition and OTP verification to prevent fraud. State funds for THR will be released only to FRS-registered beneficiaries.
