Russian President Vladimir Putin has refused to comment on claims of a joint U.S.-Israel plan to assassinate Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The remarks were made during a closed-door session with senior Russian news editors in St. Petersburg on Wednesday, June 18.
“I have no interest in discussing this,” Putin stated, sidestepping the controversy.
