Ohio lawmakers OK end to police ticket quotas
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- The use of police quotas in Ohio could soon be banned.
Senate Bill 114 is on its way to the governor’s desk after passing the statehouse without a single vote against throughout the process.
If Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine signs the bill, it would both prohibit law enforcement agencies from using citation quotas and create an anonymous reporting system for officers to use if their departments do not comply with the law.
