Copake man charged after police chase across multiple counties and states

ANCRAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Columbia County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of a Copake man after a reported pursuit that spanned multiple days, counties, and states. Michael Faranda, 53, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt.

On June 13, sheriff's deputies tried to pull Faranda over in his car in Ancram during an investigation regarding previous criminal contempt charges.
