Man arrested in connection to fatal beating in west Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – Columbus police have arrested a man in connection to the death of a man who was found unresponsive on the west side.

According to court documents, CPD officers were called to the Wildwood Village Apartments on Ottis Court, May 27 just after 1:30 a.m. Police found William Woods lying on the ground and he was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
