New Zealand Becomes Latest Government to Approve ‘Shrooms’ for Medicinal Use

Psilocybin—a notorious hallucinogen found in “magic mushrooms”—is a federally controlled substance that the U.S. deems to have “no currently accepted medical use” and “a high potential for abuse.”
