M&M shares jump over 1% after CCI clears 59% stake acquisition in SML Isuzu; open offer to follow

Mahindra & Mahindra shares will be in focus after the company received CCI approval to acquire a 58.96% stake in SML Isuzu. The deal includes 43.96% from Sumitomo Corp and 15% from Isuzu Motors. M&M will also launch an open offer to buy up to 26% from public shareholders at Rs 1,554.60 per share, as per SEBI takeover norms.
