Traffic delays on M25 after multi-vehicle crash

A stretch of the M25 has closed after a serious multi-vehicle crash in Essex.

The incident happened on the anticlockwise carriageway between junction J29 (Upminster) and J28 (Bretwood) this afternoon, trapping cars in the road block while emergency services respond.

Drivers in the area face 30-minute delays, National Highways warned.
