Ayatollah Khamenei mental health is at the center of a major leadership shift in Iran, according to opposition outlet Iran International. Reports suggest the 86-year-old Supreme Leader was removed from key decisions after suffering a mental breakdown during escalating conflict with Israel. He was allegedly moved to a secure underground bunker in Tehran with his son Mojtaba Khamenei, following Israeli airstrikes. Senior military officials and Iran’s Supreme National Security Council are now believed to be handling national decisions.
