Fentanyl investigation leads to Topeka chase and crash
TOPEKA (KSNT) - One person is in custody after a Shawnee County Sheriff's Office deputy attempted to stop a car that was connected to an ongoing fentanyl investigation Monday.
The sheriff's office reports that at about 3:30 p.m. on Monday, June 16 deputies tried to stop a car that was suspected of being connected to the distribution of fentanyl. When deputies tried to stop the car, it fled at high speeds until deputies lost sight of the vehicle.
