Maruti Suzuki targets 35% of vehicle dispatches via railways by FY31 with new Manesar terminal

Maruti Suzuki is significantly expanding its railway logistics, aiming for 35% of vehicle dispatches via trains by 2031, a substantial increase from the current 24%. The company inaugurated its second in-plant railway siding at Manesar, now the largest GatiShakti multi-modal cargo terminal in India. This initiative is projected to reduce carbon emissions by 1.
