Girl, 2, bitten in face by ‘Terrier-like’ dog in Rustington park

A two-year-old girl was repeatedly bitten in the face by a dog in a park.

The toddler was attacked by a small, dark-coloured terrier-like dog in Brookfield Park, Rustington in West Sussex on Sunday at around 3.30pm.

The infant is receiving hospital treatment for multiple facial injuries, including wounds on her nose, lip and cheek.

No one was seen with the dog at the time of the incident.
