'Wayne's World' Landmark Closing in July
Wayne's World became a comedy sensation in 1992, when the Mike Myers and Dana Carvey starred as Wayne Campbell and Garth Algar, respectively, depicting hosts of the public-access television show, Wayne's World. The film hilariously portrays Campbell and Algar as "two slacker friends try to promote their public-access cable show," as IMDb states, and was such a hit that they even released a Wayne's World 2 in 1993.
Of course, the sequel is never as good as the original, and most would agree that nothing beats the original Wayne's World.
