Australian batter Steve Smith was injured during the final of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025. The star player believes that he will be fit to play by the time the team begin their three-match Test series against West Indies.

During the WTC 2025 final against South Africa, Steve Smith injured his right hand’s finger in an attempt to catch a ball edged by Temba Bavuma. After Smith’s finger got dislocated, he was sent to a nearby hospital for X-ray.
