Oklahoma lawmakers react to Minnesota shootings, speak against political violence

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — According to Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, former House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband were shot and killed in a 'politically motivated assassination' overnight Saturday, state Senator John Hoffman and his wife were also shot and wounded.

The suspect is said to have impersonated as law enforcement, while wearing a badge to enter the lawmakers' homes, NBC officials said.

Authorities are said to be actively looking for the suspect.
