Firefighters make substantial containment progress in Ferry Fire
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Firefighters in Sherman County have made substantial progress on the containment of the Ferry Fire, officials announced on Saturday.
While the fire was listed as only 5% contained on Friday, the containment figure jumped to 43% by mid-Saturday morning, the Sherman County Emergency Services said.
