Beloved Alabama Cajun Restaurant Closing Down After Almost 30 Years

A popular Cajun restaurant is shutting down next week, leaving diners in and around Birmingham, Alabama devastated.

Crazy Cajuns Boiling Pot will close next weekend after nearly three decades in business. The restaurant's final day of service is next Saturday, June 21, Crazy Cajuns said in a social media post.

Originally opened in 1997 by Robert and Lulu Regard of Baton Rouge, La, Crazy Cajuns remained open after the Regards announced they intended to sell the restaurant in 2022.
