The Guardians lost last night to the flailing Mariners and the Tigers have a 9.5 game lead in the AL Central.

Barring some kind of miracle, the Tigers will win the AL Central. Time for the Guardians to aim fr a wildcard.

It won't do much good to win a wildcard unless someone, anyone, not named Steven Kwan, Jose Ramirez or Carlos Santana consistently hit the ball with authority. And if their bullpen lefties can't be effective.
