ONGC says pumping operations commenced to control gas blowout in Assam

ONGC has initiated pumping operations at Rudrasagar Field in Sivasagar, Assam. This followed the installation and testing of essential connections. The operations aim to control the gas gush from Well RDS#147. A team has taken control of the well. ONGC is working with the district administration to support evacuated residents. Earlier, a gas gush occurred during servicing operations.
