DNA of 11 plane crash victims matched with family members so far: Official

Authorities in Ahmedabad are identifying Air India crash victims through DNA matching. Eleven victims are identified. The sole survivor is stable. Most victims were from Gujarat. Families of foreign victims are contacted. Grief counselors are available. Eight bodies were handed over after direct identification. The death toll reached 270. A high-level panel will investigate the crash.
