Mark Hamill Responds to Rumors That He Quit the 'Star Wars' Franchise

Mark Hamill is clearing the air regarding his future in the Star Wars universe.

The 73-year-old actor, who famously played Luke Skywalker in six Star Wars films, addressed the rumors that he “quit” the franchise in a recent interview.

“Well, let me say: they haven’t asked me. It’s not like they said, ‘Please come back.’ I don’t want to make a big PR pronouncement like ‘This is my decision.’ I’m just saying that it really felt like a conclusion,” he said while on Sunday TODAY With Wille Geist.
