MV Wan Hai 503 blaze: Firefighting continues amid adverse sea conditions

Efforts are underway to control a fire on the MV WAN HAI 503. The ship caught fire after a container explosion near Kerala. The Indian Coast Guard is using aerial firefighting techniques. They are also monitoring the vessel to prevent environmental damage. The ship was traveling from Colombo to Nhava Sheva. Eighteen of the twenty-two crew members were rescued earlier.
