How our 3 largest local school districts did on the 2025 Spring STAAR tests

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Central Texas' three most populous districts scored better on the Spring 2025 STAAR test's algebra and biology sections compared to the Spring 2024 tests, but worse on the English sections, according to data released Tuesday by the Texas Education Agency (TEA).

Due to the volume of data, KXAN looked at the STAAR EOC test group summaries for our three largest districts: Austin ISD, Leander ISD and Round Rock ISD.
