Woman, 66, suffers broken arm in hit-and-run during downtown Chicago anti-ICE protests, police say
A 66-year-old woman suffered a broken left arm in a hit-and-run Tuesday evening while during a downtown anti-ICE protest, officials said.
The woman was protesting in the middle of the street in the first block of East Monroe Street around 6:20 p.m. Tuesday when a red 2003 Kia Spectra drove through a group of protesters in the street, Chicago police said Wednesday.
The victim, who broke her arm as the car fled the scene, was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where she was treated and released, officials said.
