‘Pray for Ben Askren’: MMA community rallies around hospitalized former champion

Ben Askren has the full support of his peers following news of his hospitalization due to a serious health issue.

The former ONE Championship and Bellator titleholder is currently dealing with a severe case of pneumonia according to his wife Amy, who shared the news of Askren’s crisis Saturday evening.

“You may have heard that my husband Ben is going through something,” Amy posted on Facebook. “He developed severe pneumonia which came on very suddenly.
