Trump sends military force to LA: 'The knives are out' between federal and state govt

The White House announced that US President Donald Trump ordered National Guard troops to Los Angeles following recent protests against immigration enforcement raids. The rare and “extraordinary” move to mobilise military force is pitting the Trump administration against local authorities in LA, FRANCE 24’s Philip Turle said in an analysis.
