Bengaluru stampede: BJP stages protest; seeks resignation from Karnataka CM, Dy CM

Bharatiya Janata Party protested at Vidhana Soudha. They demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar. This followed a stampede outside Chinnaswamy stadium. Eleven people died in the incident. Opposition leader R Ashoka called for the leaders to step down. He blamed them for negligence leading to the deaths.
