Guardians News and Notes: Awaiting Word on Shane Bieber

News and Notes for Friday, June 6th, 2025

Yesterday was not able great day for Guardians fans.

The Guardians got shutout by the Yankees. And we got word that Shane Bieber won't make his start tomorrow at Akron because he's having elbow pain.

Shane Bieber will not start Friday for Akron. He reported soreness after throwing a bullpen session the other day. He met with team doctors and will consult with Dr. Keith Meister to figure out what’s next.
