Man accused in Gujarat MGNREGS scam assaults villager over alleged whistleblower complaint

In Gujarat's Panchmahal, Sandeep Machhi, accused of MGNREGS fund embezzlement, allegedly attacked Kishan Machhi, suspecting him of filing a complaint about misappropriation in Junidhari village. Sandeep intercepted Kishan, verbally abused him, bit his finger causing bleeding, and assaulted him before fleeing with death threats. Kishan is currently receiving hospital treatment for his injuries.
