Kerala Guv firm on Bharat Mata portrait; left govt boycotts Raj Bhavan event

Kerala Governor Rajendra Arlekar affirmed that the Bharat Mata portrait will remain at Raj Bhavan, amidst controversy surrounding the World Environment Day celebration. Agriculture Minister P Prasad boycotted the event, jointly organized by the state and Raj Bhavan, due to reports that the governor's office insisted on displaying the image, commonly associated with RSS shakhas.
