Company board report to have details of sexual harassment complaints, compliance with maternity benefit rule

The corporate affairs ministry has amended rules mandating listed companies to disclose details of sexual harassment complaints and maternity benefits compliance in their board reports, effective July 14. This move aims to foster gender equality and justice at the workplace. The board report must also flag sexual harassment cases pending for over 90 days.
