Travelers from 12 countries in Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, and the Middle East woke up Thursday to news they were being barred from entering the U.S., while others from seven additional countries, including Venezuela, learned their visa programs were being canceled as President Donald Trump declares a new travel ban.
Trump on Wednesday signed an executive order that effectively bans “foreign nationals” in more than a dozen countries from entering the U.S., citing “national security” concerns.
