BSF jawan abducted, tied and filmed by Bangladeshi nationals, freed after flag meet

A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan was abducted by Bangladeshi nationals near the Chandni Chowk border post in Murshidabad, West Bengal, while preventing infiltration early on Wednesday. Identified as Shri Ganesh of the 71st Battalion, the jawan was dragged across the border, tied to a tree, and verbally abused before being handed over to the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB). He was freed after a flag meeting between BSF and BGB. The BSF is now reviewing its security protocols in the area.
