E-bike fire burns Soldier On shed in Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (NEWS10) -- An e-bike fire fully engulfed a shed on the property of a Pittsfield non-profit and damaged part of the organization's main building. The fire took place just before 8 p.m. Wednesday on West Housatonic Street at Soldier On.

Officials said a lithium-ion battery powered e-bike was charging when it caught on fire, and the fire quickly spread to the entire shed.
