Taylor Swift spent $360M to buy back her own voice, and the reason is not so simple

Taylor Swift's fight to own her music masters is now over. She has regained ownership of her first six albums in May 2025. This deal is worth $360 million. It started in 2019 when Scooter Braun acquired Big Machine Label Group. Swift re-recorded her albums to create new versions. She acquired the masters from Shamrock Capital.
