DOE worker accused of raping 13-year-old girl: DA

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) --- A New York City teacher is accused of raping a 13-year-old girl earlier this year, authorities said Wednesday.

David Ospino, 36, was arraigned Wednesday on rape and endangering the welfare of a child charges in connection to the Jan. 11 incident, prosecutors said.

Ospino, who was off duty, allegedly raped the teen in an unknown Queens location sometime between 5:45 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., according to the criminal complaint.
