A24 wants to go viral with their new plague movie. Mikey Madison is in talks to replace Sydney Sweeney in A24’s adaptation of The Masque of the Red Death. Edgar Allen Poe’s gothic tale is about how the rich can’t escape death, an always-timely theme. The film will see Madison play twins — one noble, one common.
