Work begins on new Topeka $60 million apartment complex

TOPEKA (KSNT) - City officials and others broke ground on a new $60 million apartment complex just south of Topeka's downtown area this week in the latest push to create more housing opportunities for locals.

City of Topeka leadership and members of The Annex Group broke ground on the new Union at Tower District apartment complex on June 3. The new housing center is expected to provide residents 250 one, two and three-bedroom apartment units to choose from.
