Man sues Disney for $50,000 over injuries on Blizzard Beach waterslide
Eugene Strickland is suing Walt Disney World for $50,000, alleging negligence after he was injured on the Downhill Double Dipper waterslide at Blizzard Beach in July 2021. Strickland claims he exceeded the ride's weight limit and suffered "permanent catastrophic injuries" when he briefly went airborne and impacted the slide.
