Newcastle man tipped to join Sunderland in summer

Newcastle United defender Jamaal Lascelles has been tipped to make a surprise transfer to rivals Sunderland this summer.

The 31-year-old has fallen out of favour at St James’ Park in recent times, and it surely makes sense for him to now move on for a new challenge.

Still, it remains to be seen where Lascelles could end up next, as he’s spent almost his entire career at Newcastle.

The former England Under-21 international started out on the books at Nottingham Forest, and later returned there for a second spell on loan.
