Mayfield man admits to stealing pills from Walgreens

FONDA, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A Mayfield man has pleaded guilty to breaking into a Walgreens and stealing narcotic prescription pills. According to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office, Chan Sonderfan, 39, faces 5 years in prison.

According to the DA's office, on Monday, a trial was set to begin when Sonderfan admitted to breaking into a Walgreens in Amsterdam and taking multiple pill bottles, which he intended to sell.
