A deadly agent in your fridge, FDA warns recalled tomatoes in Carolinas and Georgia pose risk of death
A major tomato recall is underway in the southeastern United States. The FDA issued warnings about possible salmonella contamination. Tomatoes from H&C Farms are suspected. These were distributed in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Ray & Mascari Inc. also recalled tomatoes. Consumers are advised to check for recalled tomatoes. They should dispose of or return them to stores.
