Report: Tottenham set to suffer transfer blow with Liverpool now keen on midfield target

Tottenham Hotspur were recently considered as the front-runners to sign Southampton’s Tyler Dibling, but could now face an uphill battle to land the midfielder.

The 19-year-old was one of the rare bright sparks in what was a disastrous return to the top flight for Southampton and is now the subject of transfer interest after the south coast club were relegated back to the Championship.

Several outlets have claimed over recent months that Tottenham have already held talks with Dibling over a summer move to N17.
