Crude putdown used by prominent Republican mad about Trump's latest target

President Donald Trump has now begun attacking a key right-wing legal group that was essential to one of his greatest accomplishments for the conservative movement in his first term — and a key Republican commentator is calling him out over it.

"I love how Trump attacks the Federalist Society and all the critical thinkers now insist the Federalist Society is the worst thing ever and, in their tweets, show they have no understanding of how the Federalist Society operates," wrote Erick Erickson on X.
