Historic Train Station Space to Reopen as Luxury Hotel

A luxury hotel spanning 180 rooms and 30 suites is slated to open in the top floors of Michigan Central Station. The development will be the debut of NoMad Hotels in Michigan, brokered through an agreement with Ford Motor Company that owns the former passenger rail station.

“A year after we opened Michigan Central Station to the world, our vision to create a global innovation hub and a destination symbolizing Detroit's future is well underway,” said Bill Ford, executive chair, Ford Motor Company in an official statement.
