Digital Competition Law waits its turn

The corporate affairs ministry is unlikely to introduce the digital competition legislation this fiscal year, prioritizing amendments to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and the Companies Act. Inter-ministerial discussions are ongoing to build consensus on the digital competition bill, with finalization expected next fiscal year.
